What is Robinhood Chain?
Robinhood Chain is a permissionless Ethereum Layer 2 built on Arbitrum Nitro, launched to mainnet on 1 July 2026. Its distinguishing feature is native tokenized equities — over 200 US stocks and ETFs that trade onchain around the clock.
Unlike a general-purpose L2, the chain's primary output is not tokens but instruments: things that split, pay dividends, halt, and are subject to corporate actions. That makes its data model meaningfully different from any other EVM chain.
It uses ETH for gas, produces blocks roughly every 100 milliseconds, and settles to Ethereum through EIP-4844 blobs. Because it is EVM-equivalent, existing Solidity contracts and JavaScript tooling work without modification.
Day-one ecosystem partners include Uniswap and Rialto for spot liquidity, Lighter and Arcus for perpetuals, Morpho for lending, Chainlink for price feeds, and Paxos for the USDG stablecoin.
